This is my personal review without spoilers of the actual plot.

Everyone said the Graces were witches.

They moved through the corridors like sleek fish, ripples in their wake. Stares followed their backs and their hair.

They had friends, but they were just distractions. They were waiting for someone different.

All I had to do was show them that person was me.

Like everyone else in her town, River is obsessed with the Graces, attracted by their glamour and apparent ability to weave magic. But are they really what they seem? And are they more dangerous than they let on?

This beautifully-written thriller will grip you from its very first page.

I was entertained through the whole book. It was always something new that peaked my interests. I love the fact that the author kept poking us with secrecy. Never a dull moment and the second had you forgotten that the main character had a huge secret; we were reminded with a kick.

The Characters were amazing. Even the characters originally meant to be hated, were great in their own way. No character were superficial to the progression of the story.

I’m a fan for sure. It’s awesome how the story isn’t progressing like so many others in the YA genre.

If you like, a jewel in the mist, a divergent, this book right here is your go to book. It ignores everything the Fantasy genre usually stands for and is completely independent.

It contains many words on a single page and requires some getting used to, but it’s nice to see an author that isn’t struggling to write a certain amount of pages. It’s understandable and if you’re in a reading flow don’t stop, simply because it takes some time getting the flow going again.

I love being surprised so start your adventure today and read this book and you’ll feel experience how it feels to be surprised whilst reading. I hope the second book will be just as awesome
