This is my personal review without spoilers of the actual plot.

The book is only available in Danish.

It took some time getting used to the constant change in time. One sentence was in present time, but then suddenly at the next line it turned past tense. As the book progressed I either didn’t notice or got used to it. Wouldn’t recommend it to the inexperienced reader because of the writing, it was so confusing at times.

Jonny is a very special character! He manages to evolve drastically through this short book, every minute of getting to know him was a blast. He had the company of many fine characters that supported the story well and gave him the opportunity to be himself.

Would have loved a better conclusion to the story though as it was a bit open and inconclusive.

As mentioned, this is a LGBT story, our main character Jonny is gay, and we get to know Jonny’s innermost thoughts about his discovering his sexuality. It was interesting to see how the people around Jonny flatly accepted him as he was, due to the authors way of making these things seem like the most natural part of life. Different yet intriguing narration.

There are so many details in this book, some that proves to be extremely relevant, whereas others could have been left out. The romantic part of the book was probably the best, promised to spoilers, so you’ll have to see who ends up completing our dear Jonny.
