This is my personal review without spoilers of the actual plot.

Månen skinner blegt over Sortedammen, da kvinden tænder lysene i pentagrammet.

This took ages to read, because Religion is, in my opinion, one of the least interesting subjects to date. It was a big part of the book, and that part was dreadful. Religion aside, another issue was the amount of characters that was relevant to the story. It was difficult keeping track of their names and what part they played. The time change isn’t such a big issue for me. At times, it was a bit annoying, but the thing that was truly irritating was the change of point of view that happened more frequently as the story progressed.

None of the characters spoke to me simply because of the amount of characters introduced and due to the constant change in period.

If you love cliffhangers then this will probably become your favorite book of all time. There’s no ending to the story! We stop midway through a sentence, and that’s it! To be continued. Wish there was some sort of closure to the part we already read, but no! You need to read the sequel in order to know what happens with Marcus, Kira and Herstedholm.

Don’t think this will ever get a translation, so you’ll have to be able to read in Danish in order to understand the book!
