This is my personal review without spoilers of the actual plot.

The book is only available in Danish, but I am sure that the rest of the world will have the pleasure of reading this one day.
I love how time and space neutral this book is; you can make your own ideas of where and when this takes place. There are few references to bands and cases regarding school shootings, making the range of when it happens limited, but it doesn’t matter, its one hell of an accomplishment being able to create that kind of book.
Typically, when I read books written by Danish authors I get the sense that it’s somehow amateurish most of the time. This was the opposite experience and I’m grateful that this book exists.

The entire book is one big build up all the way toward the end where it ends with a cliffhanger.

Amazing work. Absolutely amazing. I truly wish that everyone could get this experience I’ve just had. It’s been a while since a book has swooped my feet away and boy was, I swept hard.

The main character is so authentic, love the way we get to know him. You get under his skin, and he gets under yours. Magnificent work.

So recommendable!
