Stefan

Driven by revenge, he hunted the brother who betrayed him.
The terrifying story of two vampire brothers and the beautiful girl torn between them.
I just had a re-watch of the series and was curious as to how the books was, since the final book just got release here in Denmark, I was curious to get started on the series. Big regret on my part. Not only is it a bad book, it’s one of the worst, plot driven stories I’ve ever read.
I was so disappointed with how L. J. created Elena, I liked her much more in the series than this. She’s kind of a bimbo, super arrogant and cheap in the sense that she instantly falls in love at first sight and apparently can’t stick with one guy, oh the infamous love triangle.
Since this book is from the 90’s it’s safe to say that everyone else copied off these books. Tsk, why would they?
The dialogue is atrocious and neither this nor Elena improves as the story progresses. All of the characters are shallow and not worth getting to know. The romance is woefully artificial, and the plot is a mess.
I finished the book and felt sorry for myself, but luckily the book wasn’t so long, although it really did feel like it, two-hundred pages can seem dreadfully long when what you’re reading is bullshit.
