This is my personal review without spoilers of the actual plot.
About three things I was absolutely positive.
First, Edward was a vampire.
Second, there was a part of him—and I didn’t know how dominant that part might be—that thirsted for my blood.
And third, I was unconditionally and irrevocably in love with him.
In the first book of the Twilight Saga, internationally bestselling author Stephenie Meyer introduces Bella Swan and Edward Cullen, a pair of star-crossed lovers whose forbidden relationship ripens against the backdrop of small-town suspicion and a mysterious coven of vampires. This is a love story with bite.
This book is purely written to Teenage Girls! Anyone not fitting this category please refrain from giving this book a bad review!
I’m a hardcore Twilight fan, and I’ve been this since the beginning of the era. This book especially is like chocolate to me. Delicious, sinful and addictive as hell. Even when I try to see the bad things in the book that other people see, the light blinds me.
I am a sucker for romantic book, especially the intense one with lots of passion. Lisa Kleypas is by far my favorite author, she know how to write romance but Stephenie Meyer isn’t half-bad.
It’s been many years since I read this for the first time, and now I understand a few things I clearly didn’t before. The Writing isn’t exceptional, the characters are shallow but the romance is absurd in the good way. However, this book right here is the reason for me to read. Getting experiences like these are fewer and fewer.
I’ve tried to stay as neutral as possible but let’s just admit it; you either love or hate it with a passion.
If you hate it, I’d like to see you try and make something as popular as this series has been. If you love it, good for you, it means you’re honest with yourself.
