This is my personal review without spoilers of the actual plot.

When an unexpected inheritance elevates her family to the ranks of the aristocracy, Amelia Hathaway discovers that tending to her younger sisters and wayward brother was easy compared to navigating the intricacies of the ton. Even more challenging: the attraction she feels for the tall, dark, and dangerously handsome Cam Rohan.

Wealthy beyond most men’s dreams, Cam has tired of society’s petty restrictions and longs to return to his “uncivilized” Gypsy roots. When the delectable Amelia appeals to him for help, he intends to offer only friendship—but intentions are no match for the desire that blindsides them both. But can a man who spurns tradition be tempted into that most time-honored arrangement: marriage? Life in London society is about to get a whole lot hotter.

I am madly in love with Lisa Kleypas! At first, I thought that this possibly couldn’t be nearly as good as the Wallflower series but I was wrong. The introduction into the world of the Hathaway’s was so subtle you barely recognized it. We meet many of the characters from the Wallflower series: Cam, Lillian and Evie. It’s amazing to meet them again, they truly are so magnificent characters and that highlighted the characters that are going to be present in this series as well. I am looking forward to the next book already. I like how similar the stories are but still very different characters. It’s nice that you already know how Stony Cross looks like since we spend most of our time there in the Wallflower series.

Amelia Hathaway is just as strong and intelligent a character as Annabelle is! I liked her very much from the first page to the last. We see a lot of character development going on and not at any point did she seem unrealistic in any way. The entire family is eccentric and are very different from your regular family and I can’t wait to get to know them all.

Plot wise it was interesting as well and kept me at my toes sometimes. Lisa Kleypas is my favorite author is the conclusion I’ve made after reading this one. I can’t find a flaw to this beautiful work.

I’m not sure if I’ve just gotten used to the way the books are written, but this one seemed easy to read whereas I had some problems with “Secrets of a summer night”

At times, I was laughing so loud my neighbor got annoyed with me! Sorry!

I’d recommend all the books written by Lisa Kleypas to anyone whom fancies a story with strong characters, good humor, softcore lovemaking, beautiful scenery and one hell of a realistic story.

However! You must read the Wallflower series before this series seeing as we get to revisit some of the characters from the Wallflower series and you may not find their comments as funny if you don’t know their shiny personalities!

There’s millions of things to be said about this book but I’m not going to spoil the fun, read it!
