This is my personal review without spoilers of the actual plot.
The book is only available in Danish!
I have made an observation when it comes to this author. The family setting is entirely the same in her books. The main characters mom and dad are divorced and lives apart and the main character has a little sister. Other similarities are always the boys the main characters fall in love with, they are nearly identical. Nothing wrong with that per say but it’s getting a little tiresome that it’s the same “situation” Wandahl’s girls are in.
Her writing is also the same in all her books. The commonalities are extreme to be honest. I think her writing is excellent though, but reading two of her books in a row is a death sentence because it’s so similar you have a hard time distinguishing between the two.
This book is purely YA. Moreover, I would recommend this to all the 10 to 12 year olds whom likes reading and up to around 16 years of age. Beyond that, you might end up with a negative reading experience and that would be sad because she is one of the better Danish authors out there. It’s a short read, little predictable but decent. I’m definitely reading the next in this trilogy.
