This is my personal review without spoilers of the actual plot.

It’s Christmas time in London and Rafe Bowman has arrived from America for his arranged meeting with Natalie Blandford, the very proper and beautiful daughter of Lady and Lord Blandford. His chiseled good looks and imposing physique are sure to impress the lady-in-waiting, and if it weren’t for his shocking American ways and wild reputation, her hand would already be guaranteed.

Before the courtship can begin, Rafe realizes he must learn the rules of London society. But when four former Wallfowers try their hand at matchmaking, no one knows what will happen. And winning a bride turns out to be more complicated than Rafe Bowman anticipated, especially for a man accustomed to getting anything he wants.

However, Christmas works in the most unexpected ways, changing a cynic to a romantic and inspiring passion in the most timid of hearts.

A Wallflower Christmas takes a trip to Victorian London, under the mistletoe, and on a journey of the heart.

This was an amazing ending to a fantastic series. I immensely enjoyed the love story between Hannah and Rafe Bowman they were so cute and the story was very colorful despite the shortness of the book. What I liked even more about this book was how much time we spend on the four wallflowers and their men, it made me fall in love with them all over again.

The book contains so many beautiful and funny moment that made me smile and laugh in one big mess. Lisa Kleypas ended up writing a perfect ending to a fantastic, groundbreaking and heartfelt series. The ending was predictable seeing as we’ve read all the other books but who cares? I felt satisfied after reading the last sentence.

I love how these books differ from its genre. If you’re looking for a laugh, an amazing romance, dirty scenes, friendship, a thrill, historical or perhaps a great world build and character build based story, these books would be on the top of my list for recommendations. If you decide after this review that you’d like to read them, they are available on Mofibo if you don’t have the money to go buy them in your nearest book shop.

I feel saddened to leave these amazing characters, luckily I’ve not yet had the pleasure of reading her others series and they will be on my “to be read” list this year. but right now I’m going to say goodbye to the genre and focus upon other reads however, I’m sure I’ll reread these books over and over again, till they are unreadable.

Truly Recommendable! Truly Remarkable work, I’m so glad these five books got me out of my reading blockage I suffered from.
