This is my personal review without spoilers of the actual plot.

Cassie is initiated into her hometown’s coven of witches but her love for the coven leader’s boyfriend could prove deadly.

Okay, I know I made a mistake. All I can do is curse at myself! I’m sure this would have been an absolute thrill to read if I hadn’t seen the television show beforehand. I almost gave up halfway through the book.

I thought Cassie was dreadful! She was childish, stupid and insecure about everything. Cassie seem too desperate when it comes to gaining friends and she’s so whiny it pissed me off. When she finally become somewhat accepted in a group of friends, she go and sorry my language, fuck it up.

I don’t like this predictable story one bit. Even the character development was a bust.

The book is so unrealistic with the absence of the parents and the problems that occur on school the students are told to solve themselves. The kids can do whatever they want no consequences.

Each member of the Circle had little to no depth to his or her personality. The differentiation between them barely existed.

We got many unanswered questions and the book feels like an introduction, we’ll see!
