This is my personal review without spoilers of the actual plot.
In the college town of Morganville, vampires and humans coexist in (relatively) bloodless harmony. Then comes Bishop, the master vampire who threatens to abolish all order, revive the forces of the evil dead, and let chaos rule. But Bishop isn’t the only threat.
Violent black cyclone clouds hover, promising a storm of devastating proportions as student Claire Danvers and her friends prepare to defend Morganville against elements both natural and unnatural.
This book was so interesting I read it in one go. It was filled with action all the way through and man, it was awesome. Nothing in this book was predictable. Claire had a prominent development in her personality and it was so great to see her stepping up and becoming a woman. She’s worth reading about whereas the other characters aren’t shining as bright. Eve and now Shane are annoying me to bits. Why are they so annoying?
The language is just like before easy to read and Caine is such a great author with the way she writes. I love how easy it is to imagine where we are and how it looks by the description.
Again, we experience that the book doesn’t end on a positive note for the main characters and in a way; it makes the story seem all the more realistic. I love the dark feel the story has; again, it makes it seem all the more real. In addition, the ending was just fabulous.
I enjoyed the book very much!
