This is my personal review without spoilers of the actual plot.
In the town of Morganville, vampires and humans live in relative peace. Student Claire Danvers has never been convinced, though, especially with the arrival of Mr. Bishop, an ancient, old-school vampire who cares nothing about harmony. What he wants from the town’s living and its dead is unthinkably sinister. It’s only at a formal ball, attended by vampires and their human dates, that Claire realizes the elaborately evil trap he’s set for Morganville.
WOW, it seems that every time the group comes to term with a frenemy a new threat appears. What the series lacked before it certainly got now! I love how a little review is made in front of the book, nice catching up, I applaud that.
What seemed like an action filled day in the previous three books are daily life now for the group, you’re never bored reading about life in Glasshouse.
Every book has its own problem it’s dealing with and this fourth book is no exception. Its nice how it all intertwine in the end, really well thought off. The ending was a cliffhanger beyond proportions.
Some of the characters are starting to annoy me, it’s nice how love develops but it’s starting to become a bit of a cliché. The only one who seem a bit mature is Claire, whom are the youngest of the group. It’s annoying me a bit.
You liked the first three books or you wouldn’t read the review to the fourth, and it’s safe to say, you won’t be disappointed by this installment. Frankly, you might even love the series even more after finishing this.
I’m in love with Myrnin. He is just fantastic!
