This is my personal review without spoilers of the actual plot.
The time has come for one winner to be crowned.
When she was chosen to compete in the Selection, America never dreamed she would find herself anywhere close to the crown—or to Prince Maxon’s heart. But as the end of the competition approaches, and the threats outside the palace walls grow more vicious, America realizes just how much she stands to lose—and how hard she’ll have to fight for the future she wants
If you haven’t read any of the books yet, you really should do yourself the favor of doing so! This is the third and in my opinion the last. If you have read the first and / or the second it truly would be a shame to miss this book. This is by far the best of the books. It was magnificent.
Again, we see a change in the main character that we’ve lacked in the second book, and it was an amazing change.
This one is by far the most interesting in regards to plot. It was exciting and nail biting at times. It was loaded with humor that the others could have used a bit more. It was heartfelt and really, a ride that was worthwhile. Sometimes I laughed so loud my neighbors heard me, but some of it was so funny that I couldn’t do a silent laugh. We’ve gotten to know the main character so well, that it was easy to picture her doing all those silly things.
I’m a huge fan of the series and it was an amazing read. I don’t think I’ll be reading the last two – it’s about a different person but we will see!
Have fun and do enjoy this last book in the trilogy of America, everybody’s sweetheart.
